Three Named as Finalists for Young Sports Personality Award
Announced recently
England footballer Michelle Agyemang, darts prodigy Luke Littler and batswoman Davina Perrin have been named as finalists for the this year's Young Sports Star of the Year award.
These three athletes have been honoured for their remarkable achievements over the past 12 months.
Agyemang played a key role in helping the Lionesses claim victory in Euro 2025, Littler won the world title for the maiden time, and Perrin rose to fame with a record-breaking innings.
Littler claimed this honour in 2024 after his sensational debut year.
The finalists were announced live on a popular morning radio program.
This year's winner will be unveiled on the prestigious sports ceremony show on Thursday, 18 December.
The show will be broadcast from seven in the evening GMT.

A mere three months after her senior team debut, Agyemang played a pivotal and thrilling role in England's run to European Championship victory.
She entered the fray to score key tying goals in both the quarter-final and semi-final.
Her incredible contributions led to her being named the best young player at the Euros.
Later in the year, she was awarded the Golden Girl award for the top young European talent.
She was also shortlisted for the Kopa Trophy for the planet's top young female footballer.
Agyemang, who has been on loan at Brighton from Arsenal, suffered an ACL injury in October.
"Being on the shortlist for Young Sports Personality of the Year is an honour," said Agyemang. "Thank you to God and I'm grateful for the support I've received from my inner circle and supporters."
Luke Littler

The year started for Littler in spectacular fashion as - aged 17 - he became the earliest-ever winner in history.
He secured a comprehensive triumph over Michael van Gerwen in the final.
His subsequent victory at the World Matchplay made him only the fifth individual to complete the prestigious triple crown of major titles.
And he wasn't finished there - his victory at November's Grand Slam of Darts meant he ascended to world number one for the first time.
At 18, he is the most youthful player to do so, smashing the previous record.
"Being nominated for Young Sports Personality of the Year is a big honour," stated Littler. "My victory in 2024 was a special memory for me and I've had another incredible 12 months. I want to continue promoting darts."
Perrin's Profile

Perrin is one of English cricket's top prospects and surged to prominence with an remarkable and historic innings in August.
Her sublime 42-ball century in The Hundred is the quickest ever by an English female in T20s.
It also stands as the equal third-quickest women's T20 century in a premier tournament.
Perrin came in second place in the season's run tally and was named the Professional Cricketers' Association's top young women's player.
"I'm incredibly grateful to be nominated for the young athlete award," expressed Perrin. "It's a very special feeling. I hope it inspires more girls to get into cricket."
