Patrick Bamford Joins the Blades Despite Leading Derogatory Songs About Manager Chris Wilder

Patrick Bamford is now a member of the Championship side just half a year after leading insulting songs targeting the team's coach, Chris Wilder.

This experienced forward, a free agent since leaving Leeds United, has agreed to a agreement joining the second-tier club in difficulty through the winter. His seven-year time with Leeds was ended through agreement in August.

Among Bamford’s final notable acts as a Leeds player was to lead abusive songs regarding Wilder amid the club’s success festivities in April. Now, the former England international is set to play under Wilder as Sheffield United's boss aims to lift the team he loves away from the drop zone.

Past History Between Bamford & the Manager

The pair had history prior to Leeds won promotion to the Premier League the previous campaign and United lost the playoff final to Sunderland. “We had a short while and similarly I spoke to Daniel Farke too and had a half-hour chat with him and he is a super guy, a top guy. When I was playing we would dish it out and accept it and that is part and parcel of the game at every level, even on a Sunday morning. I have absolutely no issue. I'm fine with the situation and I said that to Pat.”

The forward featured in 18 appearances with Leeds United in the previous campaign however the former Nottingham Forest, Chelsea FC & Boro player has faced difficulties with fitness issues in recent years.
