Witnesses describe that from 9:30 PM local on the previous day until daybreak, aerial and artillery attacks struck various districts of the urban center.
- Bombardment concentrated on the southern and western parts industrial area, and college neighborhood, then came intense shelling in that district.
- Afterwards, bombing runs hit that locality and the security headquarters.
- In the pre-dawn period, fighter jets struck Tel al-Hawa, a refugee camp, and that neighborhood, while mortar fire targeted the street near Hamid Roundabout and the medical facility.
Populated Districts Affected
Witnesses reported ordnance targeting residential areas in al-Nafaq and al-Jalaa Street.
