Prolific writer for children and TV personality David Walliams has parted ways with his longtime publishing house, as confirmed by the firm.
A spokesman for the firm stated: "Following a thorough review, and under the leadership of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing future works by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the decision was taken subsequent to an inquiry regarding reports of inappropriate behaviour involving young women.
The company did not confirm the motivations for this action, stating: "It is not our policy to discuss private personnel issues."
An Illustrious Publishing History
Walliams is one of the UK's most successful children's authors, boasting over over six tens of millions of copies worldwide in five dozen languages.
His first children's book, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins fifteen years ago.
A number of his titles, for example *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have subsequently been turned into television films.
His bibliography includes in excess of 40 works in total, encompassing a holiday title named *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins in October.
